Therapy is far from a transactional process where we identify stressors and strive towards healthier habits, but rather it’s a culmination of mind, body, and spirit. Through my understanding of Eastern philosophies, my practise as a kinesiologist, and studies in Counselling Psychology, I believe in holistically approaching our work to instill a long lasting resilience. With my Eastern philosophy, B.Sc. in Kinesiology, and Master’s in Counselling Psychology, I integrate a deep awareness of the body into my therapeutic approach. I view the body both as an organism- shaped by experiences and emotions, and a machine that carries us. My approach blends psychodynamic theory, Compassion- Focused Therapy, CBT, Logotherapy, and Somatic psychomotor awareness to help clients connect with their emotions, find meaning, and cultivate resilience. To fully support you through your journey, I also offer my services in all dialects of Arabic. As an immigrant who navigates the inbetween, a pre licensed professional and MA in Counselling Psychology under clinical supervision, I strive to be a true witness to my clients’ journeys, creating a space of safety, understanding, and growth. If you’re looking for a therapist who sees you holistically, mind, body, and spirit, I’d be honoured to support you.

Please email tkpsychotherapy@proton.me and state my name so the clinic can forward me your request.

It can be hard to face the world without support. At my core, I am someone who values connection, growth, and compassion, which is why I feel so at home in this work. As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, I bring both lived experience and professional training into the room. I have a deep appreciation for the complexities of identity, belonging, and self-acceptance, and strive to create an affirming, inclusive space. I’m especially attuned to the ways that culture, systems, our identities, and experiences shape our stories. I know how meaningful it can be to be understood in a safe and non-judgmental space. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, facing anxiety or burnout, managing relational insecurity or conflict, or processing experiences of marginalization, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Focus Areas: Individuals and couples experiencing stress, anxiety, panic, burnout, life transitions, self-esteem, and body image. I bring experience working with folks exploring gender identity and sexuality, families navigating the needs of children with disabilities, and neurodiverse populations including ADHD and ASD. I am poly-aware and kink-affirming. I also work with those in their journey of spirituality and finding meaning.

I am certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and draw on Expressive Art Therapy Techniques as well as Narrative, Existential and Motivational Interviewing approaches. I believe that every individual is unique, so we will work together to find which approach works best for you. I am rooted in values of equity, inclusion, and deep respect for the diverse experiences each person brings.

Reaching out takes courage, and it’s a meaningful first step toward healing and growth. My goal is to offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported just as you are.

I approach therapy with cultural sensitivity and inclusivity, honouring your values, experiences, and identity. Together, we’ll build a collaborative and trusting relationship where your voice leads the way. I’m here to walk alongside you—whether you’re navigating challenges, exploring new possibilities, or simply seeking a space to be understood.

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership, one that respects your pace and supports your goals. Every person brings unique strengths, and I strive to help you recognize and build on yours throughout our work together.

To best meet your individual needs, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including Trauma-Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based techniques.

I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals and am especially passionate about supporting teens, adults, couples, families, members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and those navigating substance use challenges. If any part of this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Let’s explore whether we might be a good fit—your journey matters, and I would be honoured to be part of it.
