If you’re experiencing overwhelm, disconnection, challenges with self-esteem or self-concept, relationship issues, grief, or if for whatever reason you feel at a loss for how to make your way out of a familiar kind of struggle, reach out to me, and perhaps we can make sense of that struggle together.

Creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment, we’ll explore what you’re going through using a person-centered and anti-oppressive framework, involving your values, beliefs, and strengths while working towards change, and aiming to improve your overall sense of well being. As a therapist, I’m interested in making the present moment more manageable while also addressing what may be at the root of what you’re experiencing, holding that all experiences are interconnected, informing one another, and seeking to be processed. In therapy, I take a non-hierarchical approach, meaning I believe you to be the expert of your own life, and view us as collaborators entering into an alliance with one another as we work towards meeting your needs and goals.

A bit about my education and credentials – I hold a Diploma of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Ontario Psychotherapy and Counseling College, a certificate in DBT-Informed practice from Adler Graduate Professional School, and am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Other modalities I may use in my practice include a focus on attachment, parts work, family systems, lifespan psychology, self psychology, object relations, narrative, and polyvagal work.

I’m currently accepting new clients for virtual therapy sessions through my online private practice, as well as virtually and in person in Toronto’s west end through Purple Oak Health.

Hello and thank you for stopping by! Seeking out a therapist is a courageous endeavour, so I congratulate you on making the decision! A bit about me… My practice is focused on relational Gestalt Therapy. I work with clients in the here and now, while focusing on embodiment, awareness and self-actualization. I help individuals seeking support with stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, shame, guilt and much more.  I’ve studied a number of spiritual paths over the past 10 years, for my own self-growth, and to broaden my approach to life and others. I weave my knowledge and experiences to hold a safe and supportive space for you to come as you are. I see and work with all sorts of clients, from a variety of backgrounds, and I use multiple modalities including relational Gestalt Therapy, Reichian Therapy, Mindfulness and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy.  I’m an empath, a highly sensitive person and I started my own healing journey over 10 years ago.

Therapy provides space… and when you have space you have options… and having options means you have the possibility of choice. This is the Gestalt sense of health! I look forward to working with you and to co-creating a space together, where you can be authentically you. Feel free to reach out for a free 20 minute consultation call (I respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. If you do not receive a response from me, please check your spam folder). To your health!

Do you feel like you have to fight everyday just to be yourself? Maybe you don’t fit the mold of what others expect, or you’re still exploring who you are. I’ve helped many people who were struggling to understand their gender and sexual identities. Others were facing complex challenges in a neurotypical world. I’m a queer, trans, nonbinary person with ADHD and autism myself. Navigating a judgmental culture can lead to problems like depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, or career challenges. I support people with these and other issues so they can not only cope in life but thrive as they step into their authentic selves.

I believe in asking rather than assuming. Your experiences and emotions are valid, despite what others may have told you. During therapy you might choose to process emotions or learn new skills to cope in everyday life. No matter what you’re going through, I’m here to support you as you are.

I’ve found that with the right help people can overcome anxiety and depression. You can learn to recognize your unique strengths as you love yourself more fully. You can turn despair into a desire to embrace life and all of the adventures it has to offer. Email me for a free consultation to learn more!
