Does life feel like it’s going full speed ahead and you’re pressured to keep up?

My goal is to help you feel more like yourself again.

You likely identify with being highly motivated, or that you’re trying to find ways to enjoy life despite the pressures surrounding you. You may be craving more control in your life; to make life happen for you, rather than it happening to you.

Depending on your preferences and needs, we will be weaving together a plan of evidence-based practices which are proven to help. I’m dedicated to keeping up with the best practices for therapy available. Some of these approaches are cutting-edge, body-based and IFS-informed approaches to move past the traditional limits of talk therapy. I work with other therapists in the Toronto area to practice what I’ve spent years learning; you’re safe, knowing that I too have experienced the therapy techniques we will go through.

Consultations are where you’re really going to get a sense for your connection with a therapist, so please don’t hesitate to reach out and we can set up a free consultation.

We know how stressful life can get at every stage which then results in incessant thoughts. Many times, the best of us feel anxious or depressed and we feel lost at a crossroad. We feel lost about how to cope with troubled times or manage stress while our ongoing responsibilities still need to be attended to. There can be various triggers that cause this, but we all want the same outcome in life – inner peace and happiness, isn’t it! With my personal and professional experiences, and a relatable approach, you and I can collaborate to improve your mental health. I am experienced working with clients who struggle with anxiety and depression. Let’s make healing and health your destination and I can walk with you in this journey. My aim is to empower you and teach you to be your own therapist! I am a mother, daughter and an immigrant, as well. My intersectionality has made me non-judgmental, empathic and sensitive to others’ needs. I would love to hear from you and join you on the road to wellness.

As a registered social worker/psychotherapist, I offer mental health support for women as they navigate various life transitions, particularly throughout the perinatal and reproductive years.

Perhaps you’re feeling stuck in your current patterns, finding it hard to manage everyday life. Or maybe you’re trying to decide whether to have children or not, coping with fertility challenges, or facing the unique demands of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, or early motherhood. Whether you’re navigating past hurts or coping with reproductive health issues and motherhood, I provide personalized support tailored to your unique needs and experiences.

In therapy, I utilize a person-centered approach which means that I will always work to follow your lead in therapy, providing support, guidance, and structure to help you discover personalized solutions within yourself. I incorporate various therapeutic modalities such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) into our sessions. I also incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as a complement to talk therapy in order to process and overcome trauma.

I recognize the unique needs of women and using this approach, we’ll find a way for you to show up as the best version of yourself. Whether you’re dealing with stress and anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, or perinatal distress, I will provide a safe and supportive space to explore and process your story. We will work together to better understand yourself and your experiences, identify patterns and behaviours that no longer serve you, and develop new coping strategies to help you navigate difficult situations. With greater self-acceptance, you can lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.
