What does it feel like to be stuck, worried, or uncertain of your life’s direction? You’ve hoped that somewhere inside you there’s tremendous potential, but right now you aren’t certain how to connect with it. Feeling this way can be especially scary when it impacts your ability to fulfill, or even identify, your heart’s desires. Getting in touch with difficult feelings can be transformative, and it often feels more meaningful when you explore them with a trusted therapist. Together, we will softly challenge those feelings and beliefs, while mapping out a clear path towards renewed harmony with the world.
As a therapist, I offer a caring heart, the ability to hear you as you want to be heard, and an intuitive sense to know where you are stuck within yourself. I will rarely tell you what you should do but will ask questions that help lead you back to yourself. I have a well rounded approach to therapy, drawing from my training in psychology, my education in the arts, and my years practicing Vipassana meditation.
I believe that many of our issues can be traced back to early wounding, and the emotional and cognitive strategies we developed to deal with those wounds. Furthermore, we have a yearning to find meaning and purpose in our lives.
