Do you sometimes sit in meetings afraid that everyone can see that you’re a fraud? You sweat profusely at the thought of approaching others? Perhaps you’re trying to make sense of your identity after major changes or transitions? Life doesn’t come with a user manual. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming or confusing to make sense of the anxiety and stress that overtake our mind. Major changes that happen to us, including immigration, job loss, parenthood, unanticipated caregiving or losing a loved one can sometimes lead us to feel lost or stuck in place. Contemplating a life we want for ourselves versus the one we currently live.
I have experience working collaboratively with clients navigating some of these struggles through psychodynamic psychotherapy. Using this type of therapy, we can explore a multitude of modalities which can provide you a variety of ways to explore your life transitions. My approach is relationally focused, and client centered, utilizing tools of CBT, dreamwork, analysis, and mindfulness with the aim of empowering you to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
