About…

I am a student therapist completing my Master’s program in Counselling Psychology. I also offer reduced-cost therapy services and am available both virtually and in-person.

There are not many places that are dedicated to learning and understanding yourself and how truly unique your experiences are, I think therapy is one of those places. It is also a place where you can surprise yourself and learn a different truth about who you are. I want to be able to help anyone else who might be feeling that difficulty and give that opportunity for you to share your story, supporting your journey of self-examination and self-understanding.

As a Queer, gay, South Asian man, I know first hand how difficult it can be to find safety in mental health care and to trust that there are safe and understanding places to share your story. I strive to create a space of safety and trust where everyone is welcome to share openly and express themselves authentically.

If you choose to work with me, we will collaboratively search for and work toward your goals in a space free from judgement, shame, guilt, or negativity. I am here to support you in being your most authentic self. Utilizing my lived experiences, I provide an approach that is based in client centered, narrative-based, and solution-focused therapies. I work with affirming identities in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC communities, those who are  underprivileged in society, and those who want to share their story with someone. I also  believe in the power of mindful based practices, working to accept whatever truth we are  living and working within those truths to find comfort and fulfilment. I am happy to explore the possibilities with anyone who believes this might be a fit for them.
