Hi, I’m Adian, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and graduate of the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re used to handling things on your own. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck. I also have a particular interest in relationships, couples and family dynamics, and understanding how past experiences can continue to affect the way we feel, cope, and connect with others today.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to you. Rather than assuming one approach works for everyone, I take the time to understand what you are experiencing, what you hope will change, and what feels realistic for you. Together, we can explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be contributing to what you’re going through while also developing practical ways to cope and move forward.
I aim to bring warmth, curiosity, compassion, and honesty into the therapy room. Therapy with me is not about being told what to do or being expected to change overnight. It is a space to slow things down, understand yourself on a deeper level, and work toward changes that feel meaningful to you.
Whether you are dealing with something that has been building for years or simply feeling like something in your life needs to change, you do not need to have the perfect words before starting therapy. We can figure things out together, one step at a time.
If you feel that we may be a good fit, I would be happy to connect with you and learn more about what you are looking for from therapy.
