Hi, I’m Adriana (She/Her). I firmly believe that true healing comes from within and that by nurturing our mind, body, and spirit, we can achieve optimal health and well-being.
I am very passionate about what I do and approach each person with warmth, compassion, and cultural sensitivity. I take the time to listen and understand each individual’s unique experiences. My approach is grounded in the principles of mindfulness, compassion, and holistic healing to help support individuals on their journey towards greater well-being and help them process their experiences, heal, grow, and achieve positive changes by connecting with their inner selves and harness their own healing power to reach their full potential.
I am passionate about working with people of diverse backgrounds experiencing a variety of distress, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, self-confidence and self-esteem issues, and immigration/acculturation stress. My experience includes working with youth and adults on the autism spectrum, individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and special needs. I have also worked with individuals presenting with scleroderma and cancer, as well as victims of domestic and sexual violence.
I am currently working towards completing my master’s degree in counselling psychology. I hold an honours Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Saint Mary’s university. I am a Registered Psychotherapist-Qualifying with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO).
