Hello! My name is Ainsley (pronouns: she/her/hers), I am a clinical practicum student completing my Master of Counselling Psychology degree at Adler University. Prior to this degree I completed my Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Regent College and throughout my theological studies found myself curious about the innate human capacity to heal. This led to a shift in direction, one towards counselling psychology.
As humans, we are largely shaped by the world that we live in, the relationships we build, and the experiences we have. I have held support positions both at home and abroad in anti-trafficking, education, mentorship, and spiritual support. Despite the inherent suffering of being human, I have witnessed the incredible resilience and transformation that can emerge when a safe space is held for people’s stories, and I continue to be amazed by this resilience.
I believe that the counselling process is one of building awareness through curiosity, where we can tend the vulnerabilities that connect us. In our work together, I am committed to cultivating a safe space to support you in your healing journey.
I offer free initial consultations and would be happy to meet with you to answer any questions you may have.
