We all have our own stories and experiences that contribute to who we are and how we face challenges. Sometimes, we get so lost in the difficulties of the outside world that we forget to take care of our inner self. This can lead to us struggling with things such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, identity-based oppression, stress management, relationship concerns, intergenerational conflict, family of origin issues, immigrant struggles, and life changes. I understand how challenging these difficulties can be, and I am passionate about helping others move from fighting with their feelings to reaching their own inner peace.
When things get difficult and feel over-whelming it takes courage to reach out and ask for help. Reaching out for help is the most important thing one can do to find their inner peace, take charge, and become empowered by their own story. The way to self-love has multiple meanings to all of us. My goal is to build a therapeutic relationship with you, where you can find the means to self-compassion, self-care and forgiveness. I am dedicated to providing a safe, warm, non-judgmental space for you to process your emotions, strengthen coping strategies, work towards your personal growth and let go of things that have been weighing you down.
I work from a holistic perspective and incorporate Mindfulness, Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My therapeutic approach understands the cultural influences in our lives, which will be addressed in a respectful and sensitive manner. I look forward to welcoming you as I provide sincere support and remain compassionate throughout your journey.
