Struggling with overwhelming emotions and difficult thoughts can feel so isolating, but it does not have to be something we try to overcome alone. I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself and take steps towards addressing these obstacles.
I work with teens and adults dealing with various issues including anxiety, phobias, depression, attachment injuries, school or work related stress, interpersonal difficulties and overall promoting self-resiliency. Together, we can discover effective strategies to bring lasting positive changes to your life. I also work with couples, fostering deeper understanding and helping them break free from negative patterns. I balance my approach by challenging and working towards growth while also considering your experience and pace.
My therapeutic approach is informed by CBT, EFT, ACT and more. This means we may challenge negative thought patterns or avoidance, build more compassionate emotional connections with yourself and others, increase acceptance and discover your strengths. I also implement a trauma-informed and attachment lens and am trained in EMDR, a trauma reprocessing modality.
I have completed Emotionally- focused therapy training for couples and level 1 and 2 in the Gottman Method, allowing me to effectively work with couples to uncover underlying attachment needs and results-oriented interventions.
I am currently accepting new clients, and would be happy to answer any questions you may have or to book a consultation with you.
