I specialize in helping individuals work through anxiety, depression, distress and challenging experiences using client-centred counselling. I am trained to help individuals through the effects of trauma, neglect, and difficult emotional experiences. My approach to therapy is to learn about you, your goals, and your history before co-creating a plan that meets your unique needs. I use evidence-based approaches to ensure that you see value in our work together. Ultimately, this process is about your needs and my job is to support you.
My aim is to help you rediscover yourself and create the life that you want to live. If you’re looking for support to navigate difficulties and build a more fulfilling life, my practice is built on creating a safe, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
My Background
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and have completed advanced clinical training for my Master of Social Work through the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO). I have worked in the mental health field for seven years, during which I’ve had the privilege of supporting diverse clients, including youth, adults, couples, families, and neurodiverse folks. I have specialized training in helping people through the perinatal period, starting from wondering if you want to be a parent, through trying to conceive and pregnancy, to postpartum and beyond. I also work with perinatal loss, grief and processing infertility.
I work with individuals and couples facing a variety of concerns, including:
Perinatal Mental Health (Pregnancy & Postpartum support; PMS & PMDD)
ADHD, Anxiety, Depression & Mood Concerns
Trauma & Complex Trauma Processing
Relationship Enhancement (Couples & Individuals)
Navigating Transitions
To support this process, I integrate several evidence-based methods, chosen based on your needs:

EMDR: Reprocessing trauma or distress through the brain and nervous system.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): Focusing on your strengths to create practical solutions.
Gottman Method Couples Therapy: Enhancing communication and connection for couples.
What Sets Me Apart
Flexible Scheduling: Evening and weekend appointments are available to accommodate busy lives.
