I believe in the power of a collaborative and client-centered approach while utilizing interventions tailored to each unique person in front of me. I will partner with you and we work to help you gain new perspectives and understandings of your unique lived experiences, perspectives, and goals, and use evidence-based interventions to guide our work together.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in a variety of modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based interventions – I believe in therapy that is flexible and tailor made to best fit you. I work with clients who are experiencing various challenges including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, perfectionism, family conflict, self-esteem, and body-image challenges. Some of my past experience in the field includes working with youth, adults, and families through mental health and relational challenges. I also have personal experiences being a high-performance athlete and bring that shared understanding and compassion into my work with other athletes in therapy.
My ultimate goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.
