I have a true passion for working with people of all ages and from diverse and socio-economic backgrounds. My sound education and thorough work experience as a social worker and therapist have empowered me to use my skills and knowledge to engage with clients by employing various practical approaches, which strive on the pillars of anti-oppressive practice, systems theory, feminist theories and strengths-based perspectives. I am continuously engaging in critical self-reflection to stay motivated and support clients with improving the quality of their lives. I possess an energetic and outgoing personality. I am perceptive; and words I live by are “The mind is like a parachute; it only works when it’s opened”. I am approachable, and I believe that individuals are the experts of their own lives. I am here to support clients with moving forward, facing and understanding their fears; anxiety/depression, creating new habits and ways of thinking, building strength and resilience and demonstrating the ability to persevere with courage in the face of adversity, through words and most importantly actions.
