Hello, and thank you for your interest in my practice. I believe seeking support is an act of bravery. I am consistently humbled by the depth of my clients’ sharing.
It is my aim to support my clients to develop a better understanding of themselves and their experiences with others. I hope to walk alongside your quest for authenticity with curiosity and compassion, and without judgment. Client autonomy is also a core value of my practice. My goal is to support you to become more conscious and confident in your decision-making.
I seek to practice from a feminist, anti-oppressive, class-conscious approach that is trauma-informed and queer, trans and gender non-conforming positive.
Trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, I am a graduate of the Ontario Psychotherapy and Counseling Program (OPC), a 5-year academic, relational and experiential program. My approach is integrative and pulls from mindfulness, existential and parts work modalities.
In addition, I am a graduate of the Assaulted Women’s and Children’s Counsellor/Advocate Program (AWCCA) at George Brown College. Following this, I worked in the gender-based violence sector, working with houseless and precariously housed women and trans folks in Toronto. This training and work experience greatly informs my psychotherapeutic practice.
Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in working with me. I offer a free 30-minute consultation to see if we feel like a good fit. This is an opportunity for you to tell me a bit about yourself and what brings you to therapy, and to ask any questions you have about therapy, me, or my approach.
