Do you struggle with feeling disconnected or distant from yourself and others? Are you stuck repeating the same maladaptive patterns over and over? Do you wish you could feel better, happier, and more connected? In today’s world, individuals are feeling more anxious, overwhelmed, and stressed in their relationships, careers, self-identity and lives in general. With many sources available and mental health being less and less stigmatized, you do not have to do it alone.
I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Grief and Loss Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. My intervention plans are tailored to each client’s unique needs, helping individuals, couples, and families navigate relationship challenges and personal struggles.
I also integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These methods allow me to address a wide variety of concerns, including childhood trauma and neglect, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, procrastination, stress, anger, addiction, grief, relationship issues, breakups, teenage challenges, and immigration or life transitions.
As a former educator, I bring a deep understanding of child development, learning challenges, and behavioural dynamics into my therapeutic practice. My background helps me support children, adolescents, educators and parents in managing stress, emotional regulation, and personal growth.
The therapeutic relationship is a catalyst for change when based on trust, support, genuine empathy and mutual respect. Together, we can build this relationship to help you explore emotions, gain clarity and insight and develop healthier coping strategies for navigating life’s challenges.
