Alison Brimacombe

B.Sc., M.B.A., M.A. (Counselling Psychology – In Progress)

Alison brings authenticity, warmth, and compassion to her work. Through collaboration, empathy, respect, and evidence-based interventions, Alison strives to instill hope and inspire change while encouraging clients to bring awareness to their capacity for growth. By examining client patterns and understanding how clients get stuck, she can help create a path toward real and sustainable positive change.

A person-centered approach guides Alison as she applies solution-focused, strength-based, and cognitive behavioural therapy techniques to her practice. Alison’s areas of interest include anxiety, stress management, depression, interpersonal issues, and life transitions. As a mother of two young children, she is also passionate about parenting and how to navigate its challenges.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master of Business Administration and is currently in the final stages of completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is a student member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and is dedicated to continuous professional development within the counselling field.
