There are times when life’s challenges can overwhelm our capacity to cope and we may feel at a loss for what to do next. This is where I come in. As a student therapist, I firmly believe that you are the expert in your life and my job is to work collaboratively with you to and provide you with valuable skills and tools to help you work through difficulties that may come your way. If you are struggling with anxiety or depression, burnout, stress, life transitions or other mental health concerns, I will meet you where you are with a nonjudgmental and compassionate approach.
As a basis for our work together, we will explore what is most important to you in your life so that we can work on goals that are meaningful to you. As we work together, I will draw on techniques from DBT, ACT, CBT, strength-based, and person-centered approaches to therapy. I have experience working with parents and caregivers, along with individuals with intellectual disabilities, or Autism.
When meeting with me, I will create a safe and trusting environment in which we will integrate strategies that are relevant and comfortable for you. I commend you on taking this courageous step in your life and thank you for the opportunity to be part of your journey.
