I’ve worked as an Intensive Care Nurse for 10 years, and I’ve learned that human suffering can take on many forms. I use my nursing background and counselling experiences to help hold a compassionate and empathetic space for clients who are experiencing trauma and burnout.
I am in my final year of completing my master’s level MA in Counselling and Psychology at Yorkville University. I am qualified to practice at Seasons Psychotherapy under the clinical supervision of an approved practicum supervisor. I primarily use a Humanistic and Compassionate focused approached for clients, including Compassionate Inquiry techniques, as well as CBT, Solution Focused and incorporating Polyvagal Theory within sessions. I also co-facilitate Therapeutic Writing Group sessions with groups up to 5 people. Please check out my socials or send me a message if you would like to know more about Therapeutic Writing.
