About…

Hi, I’m Amun. I’m honoured that you’re considering working with me as a part of your path to healing ✴

I hope to walk alongside you through therapy–meeting you with warmth, authenticity, openness, and trust. My approach to therapy is collaborative & emotionally-engaged, drawing on CBT, mindfulness, attachment theory, and inner child work. I work from an anti-oppressive, feminist, and trauma-informed lens and have further training in both Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Postpartum Mental Health.

The challenges life brings can often make us feel alone and misunderstood, though as humans–at our core–we have an innate desire to form meaningful connections. I hope to play a part in helping you make sense of the relationships that are most important to you, supporting you in exploring relationship dynamics and communication in all forms of relationships –romantic, family, friendships, etc.

I am able to provide support to clients struggling with family conflict, communicating needs & boundaries, generational trauma, co-dependency, and with managing parent-child relationships in adulthood. In their relationship with themselves, I support clients in exploring self-esteem, burnout, and identity and life transitions such as divorce, immigration, and grief.

I’m also passionate about working with folks in the prenatal and postnatal seasons of life. I aim to create a warm and safe space for parents to explore and cope with the overwhelming and often ‘invisible’ load of motherhood. I work to help women explore their relationships with themselves outside of the role of motherhood, supporting them in realigning with their personal values and needs and expanding their capacity to tenderly show up for themselves.

I truly believe human experiences are meant to be shared experiences. We have more in common than what separates us and I want you to know and feel that you’re not alone in your suffering. In our work together I want you to see me as someone who genuinely cares about your well-being and wholeheartedly believes in you.

It’s time you started tending to yourself. Click on the link below to get in touch with me. We’ll schedule a free 30 minute call to get to know each other, provide you with a chance to ask any questions, and chat about what working together would look like.  I’m so looking forward to hearing from you. I’m here and ready to support you, Amun
