(She/Her) Annmarie Etuk is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Junior Therapist at Holding Hearts Psychotherapy and Counselling Services. She is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with CCPA. She has attained her Masters (M.A.) in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, and is now pursuing her Doctor of Psychology in Grief Counselling at American International Theism University. She completed an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cognitive Science and a minor in Psychology at York University. Annmarie has connected with individuals from diverse populations through her various volunteer experiences with newcomers to Canada. Annmarie has experience working with youth in various socioeconomic backgrounds across the GTA. Annmarie facilitates a non-judgmental space which allows for open communication. Annmarie’s area of passion includes helping individual’s, youth, adolescents, and the young adult population. Annmarie’s areas of focus includes depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, stress, trauma, and BIPOC/cultural issues. She utilizes various modalities including: Narrative, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. With kindness and understanding at the forefront, Annmarie hopes to work with clients to identify their various strengths and provide numerous tools to facilitate positive lifelong change.
