I am currently working towards a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. With a background in education and career development, I have extensive experience supporting adults from diverse backgrounds with personal development and job readiness. Since transitioning out of the traditional classroom to become a Career Coach, I have supported those from a wide variety of backgrounds and life circumstances in identifying personal and professional goals, as well as creating personalized action plans. I have worked extensively with those facing homelessness, individuals who are justice involved, new Canadians and post-secondary students.
I specialize in supporting adults with concerns including self-esteem, life transitions, identity, stress, anxiety, communication, relationship concerns and more. I am committed to empowering clients in their journey of personal growth. With a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation of our work together, I support clients to identify and pursue their goals.
My approach is client-centred and trauma informed, drawing on several therapeutic approaches including Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Existential Therapy, etc. I strongly believe that each person comes with their own set of life experiences, values, and ways of being. By meeting clients where they are at, and embracing the fact that they are truly the experts in their lives, I aim to foster self-empowerment through therapy in children (10+), youth, adults, seniors, and couples.
