About…

Hello, I am Ashlynn Miller (she/her) and I am accepting NEW clients! NO wait-list! VIRTUAL ONLY!

It is okay to not be okay, life hands us challenges that we might not always be able to work through by ourselves. While these situations happen, our days can be affected. Despite these challenges, you deserve to live your best life and I am here to support your goals and well-being. Anxiety, depression, and negative thoughts can make us feel alone, but the journey will be taken together through working together. It is my honour to help you live your best life and grow a relationship with you can experience personal growth and healing. Let your journey begin today.

I have always been drawn to counselling; I have the desire to help others. Advocating Hope is a great place to grow in this profession and work with clients to support their needs and share their journey through this counselling experience. My treatment styles include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. These teach self-forgiveness, thought processing, dealing with difficult emotions, and moving towards a solution throughout the journey. My goal is to validate your struggles and affirm that you have strengths that will help you not be consumed by whatever is engulfing you.

I want to commend your courage for seeking counselling and knowing what could be best for yourself and working towards those goals. I hope to help you through your journey and look at counselling as an important stepping stone to a better you and stop those waves from keeping you down.

I work with those 12 and older, supporting LGBTQ+ community, seniors, students, couples, and everyone in between.
