How often have you had to leave parts of yourself (your ethnicity, your queer identity, your mental health) at the door? Sometimes you might need to be someone else to feel safe. It can be hard to love and accept yourself, especially when you live in a world where you are told to keep parts of yourself hidden to fit in. I know and understand how racism, discrimination, colonial, structural oppression and queer identities can impact our mental health. I am here to create a safe enough space so that you can feel comfortable bringing all you are and want to be in our sessions.
I am an Expressive Arts Therapist, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and completing my masters at Yorkville University, using multiple approaches and in an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed frame. I work using the arts as a vehicle to find your inner voice and creativity and explore your strengths and resources. I primarily work with Asian, 2sLGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folks.
You are the expert on your own experiences. I am here to guide, to be with, to hold, to witness and be a companion on your journey. I am accepting new clients and am happy to provide a free 15-minute consultation so we can get to know each other. Messaging/chatting therapy is available!
