I am a compassionate and dedicated mental health counselor with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of life. As a Muslim South Asian woman, I bring a unique cultural perspective to my practice, creating a safe and empathetic space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.

I primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as those struggling with self-esteem, depression, anxiety and folks living with chronic illness. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care and is influenced by CBT, DBT, and SFBT. I work collaboratively with clients to help them build self-compassion, and the tools needed to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

I believe in the importance of integrating cultural sensitivity and individualized care into therapy, ensuring that clients’ unique backgrounds, experiences, and values are honored throughout the therapeutic process. My goal is to support you in finding healing, developing healthier coping mechanisms, and building a life that feels more fulfilling and balanced.

I am currently working through an EMDR certification approved by the EMDR International Association. I look forward to utilizing this modality in future sessions.
