Are you aware that the majority of your daily actions are born out of habit or rituals? Do you ever ask yourself why do you keep on doing the things that you do?
Are you aware that your thoughts of the past, present and future may lead you to a life of feeling angry, sadness, shame, grief, fear, and joy. Understanding that you are suffering in life depends to a great extent on your attachments to certain aspects of your life. This is what you should be curious about. Psychotherapy or “talk therapy” in a confidential, non-judgemental, and compassionate environment enables you to develop a trusting relationship with your therapist that leads to authentic and honest communication of your emotions.
I am a psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with individuals that are curious about why they may be suffering at this moment in their lives. I was a Registered Massage therapist for twenty years dealing with trauma. At the same time I was a Personal Trainer for fifteen of those years helping to get patients moving again. I am also currently a Personal Life Coach dealing with individuals who want to learn the concept of “OWN YOUR SPACE” in life physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I have been dealing with the human body for the last forty years; primarily understanding how we move efficiently, healing the physical body with massage therapy, to now reducing an individual’s mental and emotional suffering as a Psychotherapist. I work with athletes, teens, students, and adults that care to know more about who they really are.
I am a certified clinical anxiety treatment professional (CCATP) and certified addictions-informed mental health professional (CAIMHP). I believe that it is very important for an individual to understand why their anxieties and addictions persist, along with finding the courage to face and approach their fears in evidence based strategies.
