Therapy can be a great way to begin addressing the trauma, emotional pain, or dissatisfaction that leave you feeling stuck. My training in trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and attachment focussed therapies may be a good fit for cultivating the change and healing you are looking for. I also leverage my own experiences with burnout, caregiver stress, grief, body shame, religious/spiritual trauma, and relationship difficulties where relevant.
Using a client-centred approach I will seek to understand your unique past and current experiences while establishing the safety needed to begin the healing process. To find what works best for you, we will likely explore different ways of releasing emotional distress, look at contributing factors, practice coping skills, and work to regain your self agency.
