About…

Life is full of transitions, challenges, and opportunities for growth. As Maya Angelou beautifully said, “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” I take an eclectic and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Therapy (NT). Together, we’ll explore your unique needs, aspirations, and goals to discover what supports your personal growth and well-being.

I believe everyone holds a powerful story—and that sharing your authentic self is the foundation for meaningful change. Therapy should be a creative and flexible experience, designed around your strengths and preferences. I encourage curiosity, openness, and collaboration in the therapeutic space, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone.

My practice is rooted in a trauma-informed, person-centered, and anti-oppressive framework. I honour the importance of culture, spirituality, identity, and lived experience in shaping who we are. I aim to create an inclusive and affirming space where all parts of you are welcome.

Our work together can support insight, emotional resilience, self-compassion, and the development of practical strategies that align with your values. As Maya Angelou also reminds us, “If I am not good to myself, how can I expect anyone else to be good to me?” Self-care and self-kindness are essential parts of your journey—and therapy can be a powerful way to reconnect with those inner resources.

Authentic connection begins with trust. I strive to offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can reflect, grow, and feel empowered. I often incorporate metaphor, creativity, and humor as tools for connection and healing, and I’ll work with you to find what fits best for your path.

Taking this first step is a meaningful act of self-investment—and I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate your journey forward.
