About…

Hi my name is Brittany and I am currently a student therapist completing my practicum under supervision by Dannielle Samuel at Transform Together. I am completing the MACP program at Yorkville university and hold CRPO (qualifying) Status.

My approach to counselling centres on the sentiment that meaningful change takes place when we shift focus towards creating a life that works with us and not against us. At its core this means working towards honouring existing strengths, exploring what matters most to you, and identifying ways we can use this knowledge to inform our change.

As a student therapist I bring my past experience supporting individuals with ADHD and other neurodiveristies to offer an approach to counselling that considers the unique experiences of each client through a neurodiversity informed lens. I believe that counselling is a space to deepen self-awareness, cultivate self compassion, and nurture self-acceptance. These foundations allow us to move through challenges with greater clarity and kindness while building a life that feels authentic and sustainable. I primarily draw on Narrative, Somatic, and Solution Focused therapies which allows us to explore and redefine your story, connect with your body and highlight your unique capacity for growth and change.

In addition to supporting clients with ADHD I also support clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, navigating life transitions, perfectionism, navigating rejection sensitivity, social skills, and improving self-esteem.
