I’m the therapist for you if:
- You would like to reclaim your sexuality after experiencing sexual violence
- You would like to explore past traumas and learn more about who you are now
- You would like to improve your communication and/or your sex life with your partner
- You’re looking for a therapist with similar lived experiences, who cares deeply about their clients
I have a special interest in working with religious trauma, childhood trauma, students/young adults, and sexual violence. Additionally, I have experience working with BPD, anxiety, depression, suicidality, gender, sexuality, domestic violence, family conflict, relationship issues, sex, harm by professional helpers, and self-esteem.
I practice from a culturally sensitive, intersectional feminist, and trauma-informed perspective. I strive to be sex and kink positive, supportive of ethical non-monogamy, spiritually open, and 2SLGBTQ+ affirming. I tend to use Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Sex Therapy, Gottman Couples Method, Mindful Self Compassion, and Strengths-Based in sessions with clients. In my sessions, I strive for clients to feel seen, celebrated, and accepted.
On a personal note, I love spending time with my partner and cats, listening to murder podcasts, and renovating our home.
