About…

Trauma is defined as an emotional response to a terrible event, however this definition does not encompass all of the undertakings you may be experiencing. Trauma can occur from family generations, a close friend’s experience, or seeing something on the media that affects us deeply. Your trauma will not look the same as another person’s and that’s okay. If you are looking to process and heal from the heavy weight of trauma, through a collaborative effort, I can help you unpack your story to be able to move forward.

I am a therapist and yoga instructor who helps individuals from a holistic perspective with a combined experience of 8 years using various intervention models that best suit the individual I am working with. Having worked with many neurodiverse individuals I recognize that this is not a one size fits all model and my current focus incorporates an emphasis on mindfulness and being gentle with ourselves to promote healing through. I use an integrative approach that combines talk therapy and actionable steps from a variety of approaches such as Existentialism, Behavioural, Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems therapy to understand who you are and the best process to help you heal on your journey. The two tenets that guide my work are the ideas that everyone deserves care and respect and that my role is to help you, the expert on your own life, solve the problems and overcome the obstacles that are holding you back from achieving the best version of yourself.

I am available for online and phone sessions.
