About…

Hi, I am Chantelle Vaz! I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Relationship Therapy Centre.

With a compassionate and trauma-informed approach, I aim to support you by creating a safe, inclusive space where authenticity, healing and growth is most possible. I have a professional background in supporting substance dependence, relational challenges, anxiety, depression and autism, among other mental health challenges.

I deeply value the uniqueness of each individual and identify as an advocate for individual diversity. Specifically in my work with, and understanding for individuals across the neurodiversity spectrum (including children, youth, and adults),  I have developed a dedication to fostering inclusivity and providing tailored therapeutic interventions that honor individual differences.

Being a woman of color also informs my practice, where my lived experiences strengthen my commitment to cultivate culturally sensitive care. I recognize the significance of cultural context in therapy, embracing diversity and valuing the intersections of identity and lived experiences.

At the heart of my therapeutic approach is a value for and honoring of collaboration, inclusivity, curiosity and compassion. I aim to foster a sense of empowerment and hope to support you in developing a deep trust in yourself and your abilities to forge a path towards your preferred outcomes!
