Love, connection, being heard, and being seen are all basic human needs. We all have times in our lives when we are challenged and may end up feeling alone, unseen, overwhelmed and defeated. In these times, reaching out to others may feel scary, and so we remain stuck in patterns that don’t serve us.

I will walk through your present challenges with you and help guide you to a place where you feel a stronger sense of connection, and a greater sense of confidence in your ability to manage the challenges in your life and your relationships. I utilize a client centered, holistic, culturally sensitive and trauma informed approach throughout the therapeutic process to accommodate each client’s unique experience, needs, and goals for therapy.

I value and respect the vulnerability, and the courage it takes to reach out for help. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment that honours the importance of the therapeutic relationship, allowing clients to move forward in their lives with greater ease.

Personally Speaking:

I facilitate and participate in a therapeutic movement program that combines meditation and dance. Both allow for the release of stuck emotions and make room for peace and joy in my life.

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light… If we own the story then we can write the ending ” ~ Brené Brown
