MACP Practicum, Student Therapist supervised by Jennifer McDonnell, RP
I offer culturally attuned therapy for teens and adults, with a particular understanding of the East Asian experience and the expectations, family dynamics, and quiet pressures that can come with it. If you have ever felt caught between worlds or unsure whether your struggles are even allowed to take up space, you are welcome here.
Much of my work centres on relationships and connection: interpersonal patterns, attachment, and the ways our earliest bonds shape how we relate to others now. Together we make sense of those patterns and build relationships that feel more secure and genuine.
My background includes pre-med studies, which gave me a strong grounding in how mind and body intersect and a deep curiosity about what helps people heal.
I aim to create a calm, respectful space where you feel understood rather than judged. Whether you are a teen finding your footing or an adult working through long-standing relationship patterns, we move at a pace that feels right for you.
If this resonates, I would be glad to hear from you.
