At times we may all need a little help or another perspective to bring what we need to our awareness. When we need guidance, we can connect to an inner compass that at times feels confusing, conflicting, or just plain out of reach. I feel we can tap into our deepest selves, gracefully face life’s obstacles, and show kindness and concern to both ourselves and others. My goal is to recognize people’s strengths and needs in an accepting and caring manner and keep pace with you as you walk your journey.
I take a client-centered approach using strategies that are strengths-based, and trauma-informed, with a holistic perspective. Working towards balanced mental and emotional health I have found a connection to nature and physical health through nutrition and activity is helpful. I am here to assist you in identifying, considering, and resolving any obstacles and help you to connect to, and honour your authentic self. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) I use a variety of therapeutic approaches in my work including Narrative, CBT, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness-based.
