I’m a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student therapist and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) completing a practicum placement under clinical supervision.
I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate self-esteem and body image concerns, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I use a collaborative, client-centred approach which recognizes you are the expert on your life and experiences. Together, we can explore the concerns that brought you to therapy, identify patterns that may no longer work for you, and work towards meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.
My approach is informed by evidence-based practices while remaining flexible to the individual needs, goals, and preferences of each client. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process rather than a one-size-fits-all experience. As a teacher, I have experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of needs. Life can feel overwhelming when you’re struggling with difficult emotions, relationships, or experiences on your own.
Reaching out for support can be an important first step, and my goal is to provide you with a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. This is a space where you can show up as you are, without fear of judgement. I offer sessions at a reduced rate and have sliding scale options available.
