Hi, I’m Claire, and I’m delighted you found my page. Welcome.
Starting therapy can feel daunting. I aim to support you in your journey at your own pace. I bring a playful, grounded energy to my sessions and create a space where curiosity and discovery can unfold. Gestalt therapy is experiential and collaborative. It’s ideal for those seeking a supportive, ongoing relationship where trust can grow while providing a space to explore, experiment, and gain new insights about yourself.
Being based in the diverse city of Tkaronto (Toronto) has shaped my approach to therapy through an intersectional, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, Queer, and feminist lens. In addition to our personal challenges, the systems of harm in our world can erode our connection to ourselves, each other, and our sense of belonging — all of which are vital to healing. Part of my approach is supporting clients in reconnecting with their intuition, aliveness, and feelings of connection.
As a student therapist at the Gestalt Institute, I work relationally — which means we shape the therapy process together, supporting your goals while growing self-awareness. Therapy is less about “fixing” and more about noticing what has helped you get through life — then exploring, without shame, whether those patterns still serve you now.
I support members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, people engaged in or exploring ethical non-monogamy (ENM), interracial relationships, and those discovering or exploring their identity. I also support clients facing perfectionism, shame, depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship challenges.
I believe each person holds the capacity to heal within, and I’m honoured to support you in that process. If you’d like to work with me, I offer a 20-minute complementary compatibility session to explore whether we’d be a good fit.
