In psychotherapy, as in life, we grow through relationship. Our sense of self emerges in meeting the other. I offer a safe and stimulating environment in which to experience your patterns of relating, explore how you make meaning, and experiment with new ways of being.
Our inner disturbances can often be tracked at the surface, embodied in posture and expression. Immersed in both Gestalt therapy and psychoanalysis, I can meet clients relationally at any depth. Prior to training at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, I completed the four-year training program at the Toronto Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis (Academic Stream).
My passion is supporting clients to own their desires, embrace the responsibilities of freedom and find meaning even in the midst of suffering. Life teaches me to marvel at how creatively each of us adapts to survive.
Phone and online therapy work too! I am comfortable conducting relational psychotherapy by telephone and online.
