I work with adults who are navigating burnout from saying yes to everything, taking care of everyone else’s needs, pushing through, and ignoring their own needs. If you are experiencing this particular type of exhaustion, you may be feeling alone even when you’re surrounded by others.
I also work with people who have ADHD and autism, especially those who were diagnosed or self-identified later in life. If you’ve spent years being told you were too much or not enough, and you’re only now starting to understand why everything has always cost you more, you may be experiencing anger and grief as much as or more than relief.
My other focus is relationship counselling for couples & parents and adult children working through long-standing patterns that keep causing hurt or distance.
My approach is grounded in emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and trauma-informed practice. That means we spend less time analyzing what you do and say and more time understanding what’s underneath it: the stories and feelings driving the patterns, the needs that haven’t been met, the ways you learned to protect yourself that may not be serving you anymore.
I offer virtual sessions for clients across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Newfoundland, so no commute, and no waiting room.
My individual sessions are $50 for 60 minutes. My relationship sessions are $65 for 75 minutes.
If this sounds like it might be for you, let’s talk.
