About…

Support for Chronic Pain, Caregiver Burnout, and Hidden Grief
You give everything to everyone—your time, your energy, your patience. Whether you’re supporting an aging parent, a partner with health issues, or managing your own chronic pain, the demands never stop. You push through exhaustion, thinking, I’ll rest later—but later never comes.

Maybe you feel stretched so thin there’s nothing left for yourself. The people you care for depend on you, but some days, it feels like no one truly sees how much you’re carrying. And still, you feel guilty for struggling—because isn’t this what you’re “supposed” to do?

Or maybe chronic pain has slowly chipped away at your sense of self. The activities that once brought you joy now feel out of reach. You’ve adapted, masked your pain, and kept moving—but the grief, frustration, and isolation are still very real.

NIHB-Covered Therapy Services
I am an approved provider with the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program, which offers coverage for counselling services to eligible First Nations and Inuit clients. If you or your family are eligible for NIHB, your sessions may be fully covered through this federal program.

As an NIHB-approved therapist, I offer culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care to support you in navigating chronic pain, caregiver burnout, grief, and life transitions, without the added stress of financial barriers.

If you’re unsure whether you qualify, I’d be happy to help you explore your coverage and guide you through the process of accessing support.

Counselling for Caregiver Stress and Chronic Pain
As a therapist for caregivers in Ontario and the Niagara region (Niagara Falls, Niagara-On-The-Lake, St Catharines, & Thorold) through walk and talk therapy. I provide a space where you can be honest about the guilt, resentment, and exhaustion that caregiving often brings, without shame or judgment.

Together, we’ll:

  • Acknowledge the emotional toll caregiving and chronic illness take on your well-being.
  • Set boundaries that honour your needs (not just everyone else’s).
  • Reclaim time and space for you, without guilt.
  • Process the complex grief that can come with invisible illness or changing roles.

A Grounded, Human Approach to Healing
I work from a compassionate, practical lens that honours both your resilience and your limits. You don’t have to prove how strong you are to deserve support. Caregivers are often expected to be strong, but strength doesn’t mean doing it all alone. You deserve support, healing, and a place to focus on your own needs.
