I am a white, queer, cisgender man and settler. I value authenticity and strive to be collaborative, warm, playful, curious, and compassionate in my work with clients. I invite you to also bring any parts of your self to our shared therapy space – the hurt, the hidden, the joyful, and anything else we may discover. My approach to care is rooted in intersectional, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed frameworks. Some specializations of mine include anxiety, perfectionism, relational/attachment challenges, queer experiences, identity development, HIV/AIDS, and navigating trauma.
I believe each of us exists within and are influenced by our family, culture, and nuanced social systems. I embrace an integrative therapy approach pulling from relational, arts-based, narrative, and existential modalities, and am committed to facilitating a space where you can gain meaningful insights and a deeper connection with your self.
I have been working as a Certified Music Therapist (MTA) for five years alongside clients in all stages of life. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) currently obtaining a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology under the supervision of Phoebe Chin. I look forward to connecting with you!
