Hello, my name is David, and I’m currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University while providing counselling under clinical supervision as part of my practicum.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially when you’ve been carrying stress, pressure, anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm on your own for a long time. Sometimes people come to therapy with a clear understanding of what they’re struggling with, while other times they only know that something doesn’t feel right anymore.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can speak openly, slow things down, and feel genuinely heard without pressure to have everything figured out right away. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, relationships, identity, and emotional overwhelm.
The way I work is mainly influenced by person-centred and humanistic therapy, while also drawing from narrative and solution-focused approaches. Rather than following a rigid framework, I try to adapt therapy to the person sitting in front of me and what feels most helpful for them.
If you feel we may be a good fit, I’d be happy to connect for a free consultation.
