About…

Come as you are. Let’s begin from there.

Life can feel heavy. You may be carrying grief that others don’t understand, navigating a chronic illness that has changed your relationship with yourself, questioning who you are or where you belong, or feeling exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to carry it alone.

I’m Debbie Airth (she/they), a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) and founder of E.A.S.E. Into Therapy. My work is informed by both professional training and lived experience navigating grief, chronic illness, identity, trauma, and life’s unexpected transitions. I created this practice because I know how powerful it can be to have a space where you don’t have to explain, defend, or hide parts of yourself in order to be understood.

As an Indigenous, 2SLGBTQ+, and polyamorous therapist, I understand how important it is to feel safe bringing your full identity into the therapy space. My practice is especially affirming of LGBTQ+ communities, polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous relationships, neurodivergence, chronic illness, and those whose experiences have often been overlooked or misunderstood.

I support clients navigating grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness and pain, identity exploration, relationship challenges, self-worth, and major life transitions. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re carrying, reconnect with your strengths, and create space for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Therapy Tailored to Your Reality
I don’t believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all. Our work together will be collaborative, flexible, and grounded in approaches that honour your experiences, strengths, and goals. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you need. We’ll discover that together.

My approach draws from:

• Somatic Therapy — exploring how stress, trauma, and emotions are carried in the body

• Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) — understanding and working with emotions in meaningful ways

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — building a life guided by your values, even in the presence of pain

• Narrative Therapy — exploring and reclaiming the stories that shape your sense of self

• Compassionate Inquiry — approaching difficult experiences with curiosity rather than judgment

• Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) — strengthening emotional regulation, mindfulness, and coping skills

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck

• Motivational Interviewing — supporting change in a way that honours your readiness and autonomy

Therapy with me is warm, relational, and human. You’ll be met with compassion rather than judgment, curiosity rather than assumption, and a genuine belief in your capacity for growth.

You’re not broken. You’re becoming.
