About…

My name is Debongshi Chakma (He/Him). I am interested in helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and mental health-related issues and providing them with tools and techniques to understand the art of conscious and healthy living. As part of my unique spiritual training, I offer holistically-integrated psychotherapy from a non-judgmental perspective.

I am a trained spiritual counsellor and skilled in meditation. I have over 30 years of experience in the spiritual counselling field. I have worked with multicultural clients, in South Korea, Bangladesh, the USA and Canada, including couples and families, children and adults, adolescents, and have experience in individual and group counselling. I earned B.A. (Hons) degree in Buddhist studies, studied psychology, and I am currently enrolled in a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist-Qualifying from the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). In 2022, I am a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP).
