(She/Her)
For the past decade, I have been assisting youth experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, anger management, self-esteem, stress, interpersonal relationship complexities, as well as their families. A part of my professional journey also includes emotional support and crisis intervention services provided to women who coped with domestic violence. During these years, I have met incredibly bright and sensitive people who evolved from survivors to thrivers.
My approach is based on the belief that therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth, where clients can reshape their future irrespective of their past. During our work, the focus will be on your strengths and resources to find ways to build upon them. I am willing to talk to you about whatever you feel will help you. If the session is about getting some things off your chest or different mental health challenges, you will have the space to make your own decisions and choose strategies you feel comfortable with.
My formal training includes Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, psychodrama, trauma-informed and attachment-based developmental approaches. I use an integrated approach to meet the needs of each client, including creative activities, as well as mental health apps.
I offer counselling in both English and French.
