Asking for help can be a very difficult choice to make. I believe that it is important for you to feel comfortable speaking and being open with your counsellor. My belief is that everyone is an expert on their own life and that my role is to help guide you to a solution that will work for you. I have over ten years experience working with youth and adults to overcome a wide variety of challenges. I come from a client centred strengths based approach. I use a wide variety of modalities in my work including cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, mindfulness, cognitive processing therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, attachment based therapy and solution focused therapy. Together we will determine what strategies would be most effective for you. My office is steps away from the TTC and there is free street parking. I am available for a thirty minute free phone consultation. My office hours are in person on Thurs from 9am to 9pm. I see client’s virtually during the week from 6 to 9pm and on Sat and Sun from 9am to 1pm.
