Hello and welcome! I primarily work to support those seeking help with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, racial and sexual identity, and men’s issues. As a Chinese-Canadian with a background in education, I am also attuned to the ways that multicultural and intergenerational experiences impact how we are able to cope during times of struggle, and our work together will be cognizant of the unique challenges those from diverse backgrounds face. I am LGBTIQA+ and BIPOC allied.
My approach is a blend of trauma-informed Person-Centered therapy, CBT, DBT, and ACT. I collaborate with clients to help them examine how their thoughts, feelings and behaviours impact their well being, and then together we will work towards leading a life that embodies the values that reflect their true selves.
I am devoted to creating a safe, compassionate and culturally sensitive space that lets clients breathe and speak about their experiences so that they do not feel alone and unseen. It is important to me that we are a good fit and that you feel safe and comfortable, so if you feel like reaching out, contact me for a free 15-minute consultation!
