“Resiliency doesn’t feel like strength when you’re experiencing it.” This saying has always resonated deeply with me, because I understand how heavy life can feel when you’re in the midst of hardship. Taking the first step to seek therapy can be one of the hardest things to do, and I want you to know that you don’t have to walk this path alone.
My name is Dhalia and I have always felt a strong calling to the helping profession. I hold a degree in Psychology and Sexuality Studies from Western University and recently completed my MACP. Over the years, I’ve built a strong foundation in mental health work, while also engaging in continuing education and advocacy in the field of sexualities. This commitment to ongoing learning allows me to bring fresh, evidence-based perspectives to my practice and to ensure my clients always receive the highest standard of care.
As a therapist, I strive to be warm, approachable, and deeply attuned to the needs of each person I work with. My clients often describe me as compassionate and easy to connect with, yet also skilled at gently challenging them to uncover patterns, build insight, and move toward lasting change. I take pride in being able to hold a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore even the most vulnerable parts of themselves.
I work with both individuals and couples, helping them navigate a wide range of concerns, always tailored to your therapeutic goals making my approach collaborative and client centered. I see therapy as a partnership, and I will meet you exactly where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be.
What makes me passionate about this work is witnessing the growth and healing that can happen when people feel truly understood. No matter what you’re facing, I believe you have the capacity to write your own story and create meaningful change. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support, perspective, and tools to help you reconnect with your strengths and values.
