A passion of mine has always been the human mind and the relationships that we build with one another. Although early on my career shifted after university, my focus has always been on how I can help guide and support those on their journey of life. Growing up as a first generation Canadian, it has always stood out the inequalities and stigma surrounding mental health. It is my hope to help those who wish to overcome not only these barriers but generational challenges that may be affecting them. I believe that the therapeutic relationship involves both clinician and client to share their voice openly and honestly, while providing support in a safe and compassionate environment.
My approach involves a safe and non-judgemental environment that I hope encourages you to overcome whatever may be standing in your way. Taking a client-centred approach allows me to help you discover your strengths and how to better utilize these skills that you already have. The modalities that I use include narrative therapy, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioural therapy.
