(He/They)
The wounds of past relational experiences can only be healed with new ones. That’s where therapy comes in. I offer my clients a space of attuned, empathic connection, in which we can explore and get curious about your experience, together. I seek to understand what it’s like to be you as closely as possible, and facilitate a process of sense-making and growth. As a relational therapist, the particular dynamic between you and I, as individual people, is an important part of understanding how you experience yourself in relation to others and the world at large. This approach provides a foundation for helping with all sorts of identifiable issues: mental health struggles, neurodivergence, relationship problems, substance abuse, patterns of behaviour, self-concept, sense of purpose… the list goes on, and the solution starts in connection.
I am a pre-licensed professional in my final year of study at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy. I’ve been working with individual adult clients since 2020. With the ongoing uncertainties of the pandemic, I offer services online only for the time being. I offer free consultations, which would give us up to half an hour to meet, discuss in greater detail what brings you to therapy, and make sure it feels like a good fit for you. I am always happy to answer any other questions you might have by email, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
